For this project, I used a pattern I had made previously as a reference. 

Bringing the pattern into Rhino, I used the curve tool to trace over part of the photo and mirrored it.

This is where I started to use Grasshopper and started to play around with hatching.

While I was attempting to add hatching to the flowers, I ran into some issues. The first issue I had, I couldn't get the Grasshopper to only hatch the main part of the flower. I changed course to only hatch the center of the flowers. However, for some reason, the hatching wouldn't work, so I remade the center. I attempted to add a circle pattern, but even though I selected multiple curves it would only apply to one. realizing that I would have to have a circle group of nodes for each center I chose to save my laptop the headache and did line hatching instead.

For the final step, I added a second hatching section to the leaves, because I thought it looked too simple.
