REVERSE ENGINEERED OBJECT: PROGRESS I

I started by musering and planning out the parts. I wanted to get the body of the pen out of the way first because it has a lot of subtle details.

I started to lay out the 2d out but quickly realized I could not use Revolve because the pen had 6 sides instead of a straight circle. So I extruded a hexagon then split the object and scaled one face down to make the pen nib side. and at the same time started to work on the ink well.
